What time is the wedding? Should I have lunch?
The wedding service will be at 1.30pm. We will be serving drinks and canapes after the ceremony, and plan to serve the wedding breakfast from around 4pm. For those of you who suffer with hunger, it might be wise to have a light lunch before arriving at the venue (the bride is planning to breakfast on a Full English...). There will also be a light buffet available later in the evening.

All guests must leave the venue by midnight, so the evening will start winding down from 11.30pm. Please arrange your end-of-evening taxis accordingly.

What's on the menu?
We will let you know the menu details shortly. However, do please let us know as soon as possible if you have any allergies or other dietary requirements.

Can I bring confetti, or petals, to throw?
Sorry, but strictly no confetti, petals, rice or anything similar (even if it's biodegradable). This is the venue's policy, so not us being spoilsports.

What's the dress code?
The groom's party will be wearing morning dress, and men are welcome to join them if they wish. However, please do not feel obliged to join them. No need for ladies to wear hats unless you really want to! Please do not wear stiletto heels (normal high heels/kitten heels are fine), as they damage the 400-year-old floor.

Have you got a wedding list?
As we have been living together for some time we don't feel traditional wedding gifts for the house are necessary (unless you feel like contributing towards a bigger house for us to keep them in!). However, if you would like to give us a gift we have a wedding list available at Trailfinders.

To contribute please call 0845 050 5927 and quote reference 5AY7YG. We are planning a trip to Australia in the autumn of 2008 for our honeymoon, and would like to use this gift list to arrange trips  that we would not normally be able to experience.

Can I bring my children?
Unfortunately we're not able to welcome your children at our wedding, as the venue is not suitable for young children. If you have a very young baby that you need to bring, please let us know as this can be arranged.

Are there any plans for drinks or dinner the night before?
We're hoping to arrange to meet up with people who are staying locally the night before the wedding, though we appreciate that some of you will be arriving late after work.  Once we know where the majority of people are planning to stay we'll get in touch and let you know where we'll be. We are also staying around on the Saturday after the wedding for those who would like to meet for lunch, details of venue and timings to follow.

You dancin'? It's my party and I'll dance if I want to...
As this is practically the only time in our lives where we'll get to choose the music, we'd like to make sure that you all enjoy yourselves. Please let us know some of your favourite cheesy songs so we can include them. If you'd like to, also let us know what the first dance at your wedding was, so we can all share the love.
